Meet Your Virtual Therapist, DC & VA
For people who are harder on themselves than anyone else
Do people tend to rely on you because you’re “good at handling things”?
Is your calendar perfectly color-coded? Do you notice when someone’s tone changes and immediately assume it’s about you? Is staying busy your way of escaping sadness? Do you cancel plans because you’re tired, then feel bad for canceling, then feel bad for feeling bad?
Do you wish you could just like yourself for once?
...Am I getting uncomfortably accurate?
It's not an accident. This is the kind of work I’ve spent years doing with people exactly like you.
For a lot of people, that long list is what a normal Tuesday looks like.
And unless you’ve experienced it, it can be hard to understand how much energy it takes to keep functioning at this level.
That’s why working with an online therapist in Virginia or DC who understands this kind of pressure makes a difference. You don’t have to translate it or convince anyone that it’s real.
Psychologist, Washington DC & VA
I’m Dr. Ann Krajewski, PsyD
(Plant person. Cat mom. Part-time adventurer. Full-time homebody.)
Most of the people who find their way to me are high-achieving young professionals with demanding lifestyles. They’re doing well by most measures. They’re responsible, capable... ya know, the typical high achiever.
They’re also exhausted by their own brain.
They overthink and people-please. They hold themselves to standards they’d never expect from anyone else. They can struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, codependency, or all of the above.
A lot of my clients already understand themselves well. But they can’t seem to get "unstuck" from it. Others have no idea why they are the way they are; all they know is that they're drowning.
That’s why Everbe exists.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over 12 years of experience working with people just like you. I don’t spend sessions telling you what to do or handing you a magic pill that fixes everything. But what I do offer is slowing things down enough to really sit with your experience without avoiding it or trying to control it. When you sit with your experience and allow it to be fully in the open, you tend to find your way through it, naturally.
Everything you need is already inside you. I just help you find it.
And I've done the work myself. I went to therapy 4x a week for 5 years. I get weekly supervision to understand my clients on a deeper level. I've trained extensively in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and working with the unconscious.
I can only take you as far as I've gone myself, and I've gone deep. That’s helped me become the therapist people come to when everything else hasn't worked.
If you’re looking for therapy with someone who understands what it’s like to function well, yet struggle at the same time, you’re welcome here.

I offer individual therapy that uses a traditional, depth-oriented approach. In simple terms, that means we don’t work off an agenda. I don’t lead sessions by teaching or telling you what to do. You'll come in with whatever’s on your mind that day, and that's where we start. I’ll ask questions, communicate back what I’m noticing, and we work together to unpack what’s happening.

I’m an online therapist (virginia & DC only) who specializes in depression, anxiety, codependency, and perfectionism. I typically work with high-achieving adults in their 20s and 30s who are capable, reflective, and used to holding themselves to very high standards.

A lot of therapists work in a more structured or solution-focused way. They focus on building skills or giving advice. That can be helpful for some people. But my work is different because we stay with your experience long enough to uncover the roots of what you're struggling with. I help you stay in your experience long enough to do the messy, hard work.
Therapy helps you understand why you feel this way and breaks the cycle. We'll work on where these feelings started, why you're so hard on yourself, and how to stop equating your worth with your productivity. You'll learn to trust yourself instead of constantly second-guessing everything you do.

Yes, I’m a virtual therapist (Washington dc & VA) and due to a nomadic lifestyle, I only offer virtual sessions.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). I completed my graduate training through the Institute for the Psychological Sciences at Franciscan University of Steubenville. I received extensive clinical and theoretical training there.
I’m fully licensed to practice psychology and have spent years working one-on-one with adults in therapy. My training and licensure mean I’m qualified to do in-depth, ongoing therapeutic work.

First, browse my website and all the FAQs to get a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy. If you’re still unsure, book a short consult call! The initial consult is a brief conversation to see how we mesh together. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, and I’ll explain how I work in detail. You’ll have a good idea if I’m the right therapist for you after that first consult.
